During the mid 00’s, I wanted to create narrative using new, often fragmented technology. There was no design to write a novel in Twitter, so I just wrote one privately. I loved the constraints of the character limit. I liked writing in 2nd person (thanks Bright Lights, Big City) and I just enjoyed the ritual. (As you know, I like rituals).

Tonight, I found a transcript of a piece of my novel. I put it through Chat GPT-4 and asked it to make me an infographic. They asked me for any particular style and so I suggested 80s.

Yes, I spit all over my screen, laughing at the combination of summary headers and descriptions. I still think the Valet of Shame could be an SNL skit.
