It’s been about 3 years since I began painting outside in the garden. It was liberating to leave my small desk and while I still trudge away at my daily practice inside, on moderate days I walk up to the garden behind, put on my respirator and spray.

I often prefer the spontaneous results, based on science, environment and luck. Or you could just call it chemistry.
