Taiwanese artist Vincent Huang has created one of the Biennale’s most riveting works this year, a floating pavilion representing the tiny island nation of Tuvalu. The country is most threatened by climate change and the ocean’s rising waters. It is predicted that it will be one of the first places to disappear if current conditions apply.
Walking through the installation immerses the viewer to reflect upon these facts and be transported for a moment to this serene and spectacular environment.
